ReThinking.Traditions – Cultural Exchange South Tyrol - Vorarlberg: Experiences and Perspectives

Bella Angora (artist), Hannes Egger (president of LanaLive), Markus Prieth (musician), and Lisa Trockner (managing director of the South Tyrolean Artists' Association) will discuss their experiences, perspectives, and expectations regarding cultural exchange projects between South Tyrol and Vorarlberg. The discussion will be moderated by Volker Klotz (director of the Department of German Culture).

With the exhibition DA.ZWISCHEN in 2018 and 2019, an artist exchange between Vorarlberg and South Tyrol took place at the Galerie Prisma of the South Tyrolean Artists' Association and the Magazin4. Under the title "ReThinking Traditions," the exchange project, funded by both countries, enters a new round from May 31 to June 2. On this occasion, Bella Angora and Lisa Trockner will share their experiences with the cultural exchange "DA.ZWISCHEN" in the discussion, while Hannes Egger provides insight into the current exchange project at LanaLive. Markus Prieth, on the other hand, can speak of lived musical exchange between the two regions, as he is regularly involved in "Mit-Tanzen" by netzwerkTanz Vorarlberg and has been participating in the Radix Music Workshop at the Propstei St. Gerold since its inception.
