The cultural festival LanaLive 2024, under the motto "Traditions in Transition," was dedicated to the exploration and reflection on the transformation of traditional rituals in our society. From May 24 to June 2, 2024, the festival invited attendees to discover new perspectives on customs and habits together with artists, scientists, and representatives of traditional associations such as the Bürgerkapelle Lana.
In an era characterized by rapid social and technological progress, LanaLive 2024 provided a space for reflection and discourse on the preservation and reorientation of traditions. Through a diverse program of music, visual arts, performances, lectures, and discussions, participants were encouraged to question the significance of rituals in today's society and to explore possible future scenarios.

The cultural festival LanaLive 2023, from May 25 to June 4, 2023, aims, as the title "Walking Connections" suggests, to connect, network, and bring together. LanaLive 2023 must be in the midst of it, in the heart of the community, to accomplish this. Walking serves as the artistic and cultural format for this purpose. Through hikes and excursions through Lana, a network is formed, bringing together the area and its people.
A series of unexpected, unusual, and surprising walks bring together artists from various disciplines (music, visual arts, performance), as well as experts from the fields of urban planning, architecture, history, etc., with residents to create connections. Together, they form a network of reference points and insights that not only enrich Lana but also should serve as a vision for how contemporary society can be brought together through cultural means.

By monumentalizing fourteen works from past festivals in public places, LanaLive invites visitors to move through Lana, leave the city, explore nature, the area, and to turn around several times to look forward.

Despite the COVID-19 crisis, LanaLive 2020, held from May 21 to 31, ventured forth as a cultural provider and creatively adapted its festival program. Under the theme "Underground," the transdisciplinary cultural festival literally and figuratively explored everything beneath the surface in Lana and its surroundings. The festival took place in alternative formats, including live streams, a brochure, a radio show, a TV show, and an interactive website, to enable the experience despite physical distancing. As a witness, author, and blogger Thomas Tribus accompanied most events and documented his experiences and thoughts in text form.

The focus of LanaLive 2014 was on a music program that corresponded the church building with the music of the respective era, creating an aesthetic and acoustic framework of immanence. In this way, the cultural festival undertakes a musical-cultural journey through time and at the same time, an artistic exploration of church and religiosity in Lana, Tscherms, and Tisens.

In 2021, LanaLive selected its venues from a wealth of locations associated with the Falschauer and Etsch. The venues allow for an experience of the two streams from new perspectives and put their social, historical, and cultural content to the test.
