#Screening

Public space plays a central role in the coexistence of society. It is a place of encounter, exchange, and intervention. However, participation is not the same for everyone.

The short film program publ!c_space, curated by author, curator, and filmmaker Elisa Fink, uses public space to explore it as a site of gender-specific power, make experiences of violence visible, and explore perspectives of participation and inclusion.

The films invite viewers to question public space as a site of gendered power relations and explore possibilities for emancipatory appropriation.
