Reset everything to zero, take three deep breaths, let the sound flow in second by second, and embrace the images that arise. DEEP LISTENING.

The Bürgerkapelle Lana, Manuel Oberkalmsteiner, and Opas Diandl create an immersive listening experience in the "Maria Himmelfahrt" parish church in Niederlana, introduced by the sound of 16th-century church bells.

The performance combines transepochal yodels, critically reflects on the historical context of the sound and music collection Quellmaz (1940–1942), zooms into the finest sound structures of the surroundings, and ultimately dances through life.

The LanaLive Cultural Festival focused on the region's traditions and customs in 2024 and initiated this extraordinary music project, which will now be performed.
